Frequently Asked Questions

DO I NEED INSURANCE COVER FOR MY DOG?

You expressly agree that your use of our service is at your sole risk. In no case shall Pup In & Play, or our employees be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind. We therefore strongly recommend that before booking your dog in with us and using our services, you have adequate insurance cover arranged in the unlikely event of any injury to your dog.

DOES MY DOG HAVE TO ATTEND EVERY DAY?

No, it is entirely up to you to decide the number of days your dog attends day care. Your dog will benefit most if it comes more regularly. Please let us know how many days you would like your dog to attend each week, so we are able to accommodate you.

CAN I LEAVE MY DOG OVERNIGHT?

Regretably no, we do not have facilities for dogs to board overnight.

DO YOU ACCEPT ALL BREEDS?

Yes, all dogs are welcome. Owners need to certify that their pets have not harmed or shown aggression towards any person or pet. If a dog shows aggression, we reserve the right to refuse future bookings.

I HAVE A SMALL DOG, WILL IT BE SAFE?

Some small dogs enjoy running about with the big dogs, but just in case, we have a separate area for the little ones to run about with their smaller friends. It is up to your dog, to decide if they want to play with big or small dogs. We will never allow a dog of any size to be bullied.

WHERE DOES MY DOG DO ITS TOILET?

Our indoor areas have resistant matting, and staff will frequently clean up and sanitise the area, once your dog has completed its business.

MY DOG HAS A HANDICAP, WILL THEY BE ACCEPTED INTO THE DAY CARE?

Your dog will be welcome, but we will discuss any handicaps your dog may have with you, and your dogs may be placed in an appropriate group, or kept in one of our smaller areas.

MY DOG HAS TO TAKE MEDICATION DURING THE DAY, CAN YOU GIVE IT TO THEM?

If your dog needs oral medication, which you provide along with a schedule, we will do our best to meet your request.

DO YOU OFFER YOUR SERVICES TO OLDER PETS?

Yes, all ages are welcome. Older dogs may be placed in an appropriate group, and can be separated if necessary.

DO I HAVE TO COMMIT TO A SCHEDULE?

We have a drop off and pick up schedule, which needs to be followed to ensure that the day for other dogs is not disrupted. We appreciate an early call if your schedule is disrupted and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

WHAT WILL MY DOG DO ALL DAY?

Run! Play! Wrestle! Socialise with playmates, lounge around and generally catch up on the latest gossip with new friends.

DO YOU FEED MY DOG DURING DAY CARE?

If you would like your dog to eat during the day then you will need to supply the food or treats, and their eating schedule, and we will do our best to meet the requested eating schedule.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
